Gabonese Economy Minister and Energy Minister visit CGGC International

On July 15 and 16, 2015, Economy Minister of Gabon Régis Immongault and Energy Minister Désiré Guedon paid a visit to CGGC International in Beijing. Two parties held a friendly meeting on construction, investment and financing of Gabonese hydro power, electric transmission & transformation projects and signed a MOU of Impératrice-Ntoum 225kV Transmission & Transformation Project.

During the meeting, Lyu Zexiang, Vice President of CGGC International, made a detailed introduction about CGGC on its history, strength and representative projects. Lyu said, with great strength and rich experience in technology, management and financing, CGGC would like to further participate in infrastructure and energy construction of Gabon to make contributions for improvement of people's lives and development of Gabonese economy.

Ministers spoke highly of CGGC for its rich experience in international projects, great strength in technology and strong capabilities in project management and financing. They said, as the main contractor constructed the Three Gorges Project, CGGC has earned great reputation in international business market. Gabonese government expects an in-depth cooperation with CGGC in energy and infrastructure construction to benefit Gabonese people.

A MOU of Impératrice-Ntoum 225kV Transmission & Transformation Project was signed between CGGC International and Gabonese Energy Ministry after the meeting. The project, with length of 264km, is an important component of "Industrial Gabon" strategy of Gabon and will play a key role in improving agriculture irrigation in drainage basin, relieving pressure of power shortage from commercial power, increasing industrial investment and employment and promoting electric power network structure.
