Chen Xiaohua Meets with Vice Chairman of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority of Pakistan

On November 8, Chen Xiaohua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CGGC, President of CGGC International and Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of CGGC Overseas Investment and Secretary of the Party Committee, meet H.E. Saif Ullah Chattha, Vice Chairman of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (NEPRA) in Beijing. Both parties had a communication about the further cooperation in electricity market of Pakistan.

During the meeting, Chen Xiaohua introduced the development of CGGC's international businesses, especially those in Pakistan.He noted that the all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan lays a solid foundation for CGGC to expand its businesses in Pakistan, and Pakistan has become the most important business country of CGGC.After setting foot in the market of Pakistan since 2005, CGGC has placed the focus on hydropower projects, and has undertaken numerous key projects such as NJ Hydropower Station, Dasu Hydropower Project and SK Hydropower Station in the fields of engineering contracting and investment.In the next stage, CGGC will firmly grasp the historic opportunity brought by the "Belt and Road" and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, enhance the efforts on market development, and make more contributions to the infrastructure construction, as well as the improvement of people's livelihood in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Chen Xiaohua had an in-depth communication with H.E. Saif Ullah Chattha about the details of SK Hydropower Project and Azad Pattan Hydropower Project invested by CGGC.

H.E. Saif Ullah Chattha highly praised the brand influence of and achievements made by CGGC in the market of Pakistan .He noted that NEPRA is willing to deepen the cooperation with CGGC, accelerate relevant key projects, and provide positive support for CGGC to further expand the electricity market in Pakistan.
