Recently, the consortium of CGGC Peru Branch and CHAVIN DE HUANTAR E.I.R.L. successfully won the bid for the Upgrading and Renovation Project of the Coastal Highway and Cancun Highway in Lima of Peru.      The Project is another project won by CGGC in Peru following the Restoration Project of the Hero Road and Pachagutec Road in Lima and the Upgrading Project of Aoyong-Anbo Road in Peru, which is funded by international organizations and marks the new breakthrough made by CGGC in South America.

Project Location

Located in Chorrillos, Lima, the Project is one of the important infrastructure upgrading and renovation projects undertaken by Lima Government and the International Organization for Migration of the United Nations to hold the 18th Pan American Games in 2019.   As the first DB general contracting (design + construction) project won by CGGC in Peru, the Project lays a solid foundation for CGGC to further expand its markets in South Africa and represents another achievement made by CGGC in overseas transportation.

In recent years, CGGC has proactively participated in highway construction projects in China by means of PPP, investment holding, and the like, successfully increasing the total mileage of highways it funds, constructs and operates to 1,500km. Many superior projects are awarded with multiple prizes and honors such as Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize, the top prize in the field of civil engineering construction in China.      Furthermore, there are 27 road and bridge projects completed or under construction by the company in 14 countries and regions such as Laos, Cambodia and Sri Lanka, which effectively improve local traffic conditions and accelerate the social and economic development of the host countries.
