Lyu Zexiang Visits Indonesia for Investment Promotion

September 25, the Indonesia-China Investment Cooperation Promotion 2019 was held in Jakarta, which was jointly sponsored by the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. The promotion meeting is aimed to further deepen and promote the coordination of Indonesia and China’s development strategies and planning, build a platform for bilateral exchanges and cooperation and facilitate the execution of the bilateral cooperation agreement in investment and infrastructure, thus further driving the improvement and upgrade of investment cooperation between the two countries.

Scene of the Promotion Meeting

Lyu Zexiang, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of CGGC International attended the meeting upon invitation as the representative of Chinese enterprises. He had in-depth communication with guests from the governmental departments, financial institutions and enterprises of both China and Indonesia on widening of cooperation vision, innovation in investment cooperation modes and expansion of cooperation scope under the context of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Indonesia.

Lyu Zexiang Delivers Speech at the Indonesia-China Investment Cooperation Promotion Meeting

During the period, Lyu Zexiang attended the Indonesia-China Investment Cooperation Promotion Meeting and delivered a speech representing the enterprises. As he introduced, as the pioneer and a leading enterprise in practicing the “Belt and Road” Initiative, CGGC has undertaken Takalar Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Project, Double Great Residence Project and other key livelihood projects in Indonesia since it made presence in Indonesia market, making remarkable contributions to socio-economic development of Indonesia and economic cooperation between China and Indonesia. Governments of the two countries are now proactively facilitating the integration of China-proposed “Belt and Road Initiative” with Indonesia’s Global Maritime Fulcrum Strategy, with their cooperation in energy infrastructure investment and construction continuously deepened. Lyu Zexiang suggested that the Chinese and Indonesia enterprises should further enhance exchange in Chinese standards, technologies and M&E products, and strengthen the cooperation in investment and development of projects such fields as new energy in accordance with the cooperation philosophy of win-win and multi-win cooperation. The Chinese and Indonesian governments and financial institutions should jointly make innovation in investment business modes from the policy level, promote cross-border investment and financing channels, and accelerate the promotion of financing facilitation. The Indonesian government may further enhance the planning and construction of renewable energy resources and provide policy support in legal environment, investment protection and risk prevention.

During the period, Lyu Zexiang had in-depth communication with local partners on deepening pragmatic cooperation. He signed the Cooperation Agreement for Karama No.1 Hydropower Station in Indonesia with PT.SUMBERGAS SAKTI PRIMA on behalf of CGGC and witnessed the signing of the Framework Agreement for Ampah 2x100MW Mine Mouth CFSPP with PT. Central Borneo Energi.

Among other attendees were leaders of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, relevant departmental principals of the Export-Import Bank of China, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, as well as Deputy General Managers Chen Xiangdong and Yuan Yingli, Chief Economist Hu Peng, relevant principals of International Liaison Department and International Division II, employees of Indonesia Representative Office of CGGC International.
