1000MW! CGGC Signs A Contract for the Tijuana and Sonora Solar Power Plant

On January 16, CGGC International and BG TITAN GROUP signed the EPC Contract Agreement for the Tijuana and Sonora Solar Power Plant. The project is the first large-scale PV power plant project signed by CGGC in Mexico, and is also the largest PV power plant project signed by CGGC in Latin America recently, marking an important achievement of CGGC in promoting the "going global" of new energy business. Chen Xiangdong, Deputy General Manager of CGGC International attended the signing ceremony.

The project is located in Tijuana in Baja California State and Nogales in Sonora State, mainly covering the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of a PV power plant with a total capacity of 1000MW and supporting power transmission and transformation projects, which will be gradually promoted by adopting the mode of "rolling development". The project has abundant solar radiation resources in the local area, and the construction of the project will effectively meet the local demand for power consumption which has significantly increased due to social and economic development.
