CGGC Won the Bid for Road Project in Côte d’Ivoire

On July 29, CGGC received the Bid-Winning Notice for the Fourth Tender Section of the Abidjan Primary Road Construction and Improvement Project in Côte d’Ivoire, realizing deep cultivation of the market of Côte d’Ivoire and the rolling development of the West African market.

Project location

The Project is located in Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire. The source of funds is from the African Development Bank. The bid-winning amount is approximately US$78 million. The scope of Project includes the construction of subgrade earthwork, pavement drainage and signal engineering of the 14.2-km two-way four-lane asphalt road connecting the Cocody French Road junction and the Alépé Road junction. The planned construction period is 20 months.

In the public bidding of the Project, CGGC, with its excellent project implementation management ability and competitive quotation, stood out from the competition between local and international contractors and successfully won the bid.

Recently, the Company has won the bid for 5 cash exchange projects in Northwest Africa, with a total amount of nearly 300 million US dollars, involving roads, water conservancy projects, housing construction, new energy and other fields, laying a solid foundation for further deepening the reform of the Group’s international business management system, promoting the construction of overseas regional branches, and advancing the high-quality and sustainable development of international business.
